We got our cat today and he's awesome! We got him from Arundel Mills PetSmart but he came from this organization. I have never adopted before, but Jesse was very helpful during the whole process and I love my new cat!
We adopted a cat from this shelter in July. While he’s beautiful and has a great personality, he’s had a ton of health issues from the shelter. He came with ringworm (which took three and a half months of isolation and multiple treatments to cure) and severe, chronic ear infections that we still haven’t been able to find the cause of, even after thousands of dollars of vet bills, procedures, and specialist visits. He’s been on a more than a dozen medications and he’s not even a year old. Be careful before adopting.
I hear they are getting shut down for code violations in their facility. Wonder if PetSmart will pull the partnership…
My experience: She is better now but TRIPLE CHECK PAPERWORK. They gave a CAT some dog meds in her nose for the crazy kennel cough at their facility. It’s nuts! The meds are preventative to keep a dog from catching a cold - NOT for smaller sinuses of a cat. It’s INSANE how scary this was for an 11 week old kitten. Be weary. Be cautious.
I'm kind of confused, is this a rescue, a shelter, or what? I called because there was a lost cat that nobody was claiming, and unfortunately, I could not bring in my home. Jamie said they would assess it, to bring it in. I brought it there, they still check in using covidprotocol, where you wait in your car and someone comes to you, which is fine, but I would have really wanted to see the place before leaving this animal there and the staff didnt really explain the process very well and out of left field they asked for $100 donation. That should have been mentioned on the phone, and all the paperwork I had to sign was that I was surrendering my pet, but I made it clear this was not my pet. They did keep the calico kitty, but I hope its safe and being taken care of. I'm a little concerned after reading some of the reviews. I could have kept the cat and integrated into a feral cat colony, but it was so sweet, definitely a pet for a family, not feral.
I’m so heartbroken, I’ve been lied to and robbed off my motherhood title. Being a barren woman, my first kitten made me feel whole. I adopted him to complete me and help me with my anxiety and infertility. I went to Pet Smart to adopt my …
I had to have a newly adopted 8-week kitten examined because he was having some poorly formed stool. Everyone was very professional. They were very busy due to it being a vaccination day, so I was there for a while. All clients must stay in …
I rescued my dog from Last Chance in late 2020, and she has been the most beautiful part of my life since. …
Dr. Nezar and everyone at Paw Prints (veterinarian services attached to shelter) is caring and compassionate. If you are looking for a new family member (and will treat them as such), the Last Chance Rescue is the place to go. Please, DO …
I adopted my cat Jake from this rescue, he is adorable and I love him to death. He had an infection and they helped me treat it. They're amazing people.
